About scenemarket
Scene Market is a community marketplace built for and by the demoscene. It lets sceners buy, sell, trade, and give away retro hardware, rare software, scene releases on physical media, and other scene-related items — especially at demoparties.
Authentication is handled via scene.org ID, so only verified members of the demoscene community can post listings. Browsing is open to everyone.
The project is open source and maintained by sceners, for sceners.
FAQ
Who can post listings?
Anyone with a scene.org account. Login with your scene.org ID to create offers or post searches.
How do claims work?
When you are interested in a listing, you submit a claim. The listing owner reviews all claims and accepts one. Acceptance sends both parties each other's contact details so you can arrange the handover — ideally at a demoparty.
Is there any payment processing?
No. Scene Market only facilitates introductions. All payments, shipping, and handover arrangements happen directly between the two parties.
What price types are available?
Free, a drink at the party, a fixed price, trade for something else, or surprise (the seller decides on the spot). Listings can be open to negotiation.
My listing is no longer available. What do I do?
Close or delete your listing from your profile page so other sceners aren't misled.
